Mickleplum Poems

Feel free to browse through some of the inane ramblings I have listed below. I have given a brief insight into the content of each poem at the side of the title.

4.30AM -- A post club verse about chilling out with friends. Slow ambient house music and a chilled scene sees us await the dawn whilst the previous nights abuses while their way out of our mind and body .

WHO'S FOR ANOTHER HALF THEN -- Another post club verse and its chilling out at a friends house. Looking around there are the usual analysts of the night's adventures. There is also the presence of the "Main Caner" who pushes our chemical adventure way on beyond those of the club.

The PISS MONSTER -- A debate as to what or who pisses piss in multi story car parks.

BUSKIN -- Passing a busker one saturday night and feeling both pity and scorn.

HOW SLEEP THEE - Questions whether a smack dealer has a conscience.

FORBIDDEN - A debate about the relevance of chemicals when clubbing. Are recreational drugs the real reason for clubbing or is it still the music and draw of the DJ?

RETURN OF THE JEDI ON PLATFORM 3 - A battle of wills with a train station clock waiting for a train that never seems to arrive.

CIDER WITH RUBY  - Not far from Victoria coach station in London after Notting Hill carnival we sat eating lunch in an enclosed garden on a bench. Then She appeared - we named her Ruby and felt both pity and shame.

CHAIN GANG COMMUTER - Same 16 mile journey everyday sure does drag you down.

F**CKING BUSES - Down on my luck and waiting for a bus in mid winter.

NEED FOR SPEED VIRUSES - You have all seen them and heard them driving their play station console game cars.

TIREDNESS - Every now and again you can have a relapse into our old ways.

MY LITTLE HAVEN OF GREEN - The end of a long hot day and my garden provides a respite from my labours.

PROGRAM 5 - Incorrect program wash results in a weak man's excuse for abuse.
